Gail Nesimiuk

Gail Nesimiuk is a ‘life’ artist. She is grateful for the gift of art God has given her and is excited to share her works with communities locally and abroad.

 

Process

Gail has developed a unique medium that integrates vibrant permanent natural dyes, watercolour, acrylic, and complex resist techniques. No matter what medium she uses, Gail is able to portray her creative vitality and explorative nature. Recently, she has spread her artistic touch to other canvases such as various furniture pieces and enchanting lampshades.

 

Inspiration

She has used her experiences and travels to Southeast Asia, Eastern Canada, and the Middle East to inspire her works. She has incorporated many styles and a variety of mediums, which illustrate her creativity, boldness, and intense love of colour.

 

Purpose

My purpose has always been to share my God given gift throughout my life. My love of color has never waned, I recall as a child of three discovering bits of colored glass and different stones that sparkled when I held them up to the light. When I used these to decorate my little Garden, it brought joy, and I think that it set the stage for my desire to create.
